Champion stallions Evans Johnny Black and Evans Barbary were sold in 2007 as the farm underwent some unforeseen changes. Having a very specific vision of our future replacements led us on a merry chase from the U.K., to Canada and finally to set our sights on two beautiful prospects from Whispering Ridge Welsh in North Dakota. Both colts are heavily bred representatives of the Cadlan Valley breeding plan. Both share one of my favorites for a damline in the beautiful Cadlan Valley Miss Wales and her dam Cadlan Valley Louisianna. Both would bring different and equally important qualities into our program. Agonizing over which to choose left us with only one option...both. So we welcome our two new Junior Stallions: Whispering Marquis and Whispering Archangel.
